Honey, as Natural as it gets....

Our World Depends on Honey Bees

Additional Information

  • Honey is composed primarily of carbohydrates and water, and also includes small amounts of a wide array of vitamins, minerals, including B vitamins such as niacin, riboflavin and pantothenic acid, along with minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium and zinc
  • Honey increases the absorption of calcium into your body.  This is critical as we age to avoid risk of fractures due to osteoporosis or low bone mass
  • Carbohydrate consumption prior to, during and after exercise improves performance and speeds the recovery of muscles.  Honey is a natural source of readily available carbohydrates, providing 17 grams of carbohydrates per tablespoon.
  • Honey contains small amounts of pollen.  Ingesting small amounts of pollen every day  can actually help reduce symptoms of pollen-related allergies.  The honey you  eat  should be "Local Honey"  That is honey harvested with-in a 50-mile radius of where you live
  • Honey has the "Good Bacteria"  The gastrointestinal tract or GI is full of bacteria.  These bacteria are essential for life and good health.  One group of bacteria that have  been shown to be particularly important to the health and proper function of the GI tract are called Bifidobacteria.  One way to increase the Bifidobacteria populations in the gut is by consuming foods containing prebiotics.  Prebiotics help these friendly bacteria grow.  Honey contains a variety of substances that can function as prebiotics

Pollination, Making Things Grow!

Additional Information

  • The honey bees are the best pollinators in the world.  The survival of plants depends on pollination and the honey bee accounts for 80 percent of all pollination done by insects.
  • 90 percent of all crops in the United States depend upon the honey bee for pollination
  • Without the honey bees pollinating crops, more than a third of the fruits and vegetables we consume would be lost

Pollen, A Boost to your Health!

Pollen is the male element of the flower and is necessary for fertilization of the plant

  • Skin Restorative Power - Exhaustive studies abroad show honey bee pollen can improve unhealthy and / or aging skin when taken internally.  Eliminates acne and clears up unattractive age spots.  The clear skin of youth comes from within
  • Increase Red Blood Cells - Studies show that honey bee pollen increases vital red blood cells up to 25%.  You feel better when your circulation is better
  • Increase Recovery Power - Two year research program at Pratt Institute in New York shows pollen improves the crucial recovery power of athletes after stressed performance
  •  The Power of Steroids - Honey bee pollen-power out powers harmful steroids without chemical side effects.  "Honey bee pollen is the greatest body builder on earth, contributing not one ounce to obesity or excess fat and should be the cornerstone for every weight loss diet" says F.Huber, German naturalist
  • Increase Sexual Stamina - Soma magazine reports pollen contains natural hormonal substances which stimulate and nourish the reproductive systems of both men and women, with a direct impact on sexual ability
  • Recommended Use - Take one teaspoon of bee pollen granules daily.  If using for allergies, start with 2 granules the first day and double each day until you are taking a teaspoon.
